"I recently took a visit to Tomo with my family May/08..I couldn't get over how absolutely fantastic this place was. The service was excellent, the food was delectable, and the scenery was a delight. The Hibachi chef was very experienced and did many great tricks to entertain us. Tomo's atmosphere has many beautiful curtains draped everywhere which give it a lounge look. You can even have your choice of sitting at the full bar, the hibachi grill, sushi bar, booths, outside on the patio or even the lounge. Its absolutely wonderful, I couldn't pick a better place to have had sushi. THANKS TOMO!"

"The other day, my family and I decided to try out Tomo Sushi, it has been right next to Fuddruckers for nearly a year now (Feb 06). When I first walked in, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. They had nice music playing, everything looked clean and spotless, and there was also a nice big screen TV to watch the game on. Tomo also has a full sevice bar which was very convenient, this is one of the few Japanese restaurants that I have been to that have this (especially with a wide variety of beverages, domestic and import). I was nicely greeted by the chefs in Japanese and was quickly seated. The restaurant has a full service bar, sushi bar, and Hibachi (what more could you ask for?) The sushi chef recommended the Sushi Shokado that was at a price I coudlnt resist . It was a traditional platter of sashimi and sushi. I could not have made a better decision in my food selection. The Sushi Shokado was an artistic masterpiece of the sushi chef. Each piece of fish tasted very fresh and was very savory. The service was excellent as well, they were sure to give me a wonderful experience at their restaurant. This restaurant combines sushi and hibachi into a nice atmoshpere. I will definately be bringing my friends here in the future. They also do catering, so I will definately keep that in mind for our next event at work. Bottom line, if you are looking for a nice place to have a couple drinks, fresh sushi, and hibachi, Tomo Sushi is the place."

"Stopped by last Saturday night. Great food and very reasonably priced.

Hibachi, large TV, great sak,i we would definitely go back.

Dined out last Saturday night. All the chain restaurants near by (Abuelos, Chilis, Red Lobster), the lines were out the door with 45+ minutes wait. We had two very hungry children.

Discouraged by the long lines, decided to head for Fuddruckers. And, boom there it was next door, Tomo Japanese Restaurant. It said grand opening Feb. 2007. Wife said let's try it, it might be a bit more healthy for us.

We went in, it nice and spacious. About 25 or so customers. It was fairly quiet which we liked. We sat by the hibachi grill area. Children had the fried rice (hibachi style) with a little bit of the show by the chef. Miso soup was nice and thick, which I liked.

I'm kinda conservative so I had the california rolls, spicy tuna and tempura. Great food. We ordered a Japanese saki. They had a huge bar, all kinds of beverages and carrried serveral brands of saki. I forgot the brand I got but it was 2rd least expensive one they carry. It was very good.

As we were eating, at the bar area, they had a huge TV screen showing the NCAA basketball game.

The service was good. Very reasonable price. We would definitely go back. Next time we may sit by the bar area and watch some sports."
